Citrusy Green Tea Smoothie Bowl
Ingredients
- 2 tsp matcha powder
- 1/4 cup boiling water
- 2 ripe bananas frozen
- 2 tangerines or small oranges frozen
- 1 cup spinach leaves
- 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1 Tbsp honey
- 1 Tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 scoop vegan vanilla protein powder
- Toppings (such as fresh berries tangerines, papaya slices, kiwi)
Instructions
- In small bowl, add matcha powder to hot boiling water. Whisk until completely smooth. Set aside to cool.
- In blender, combine matcha shot, frozen bananas, tangerines or oranges, spinach, Greek yogurt, honey, lemon juice, and protein powder. Blend until thick and creamy.
- Pour smoothie into bowl and add desired toppings. Serve immediately.
