Because I like to drink tea cold, I brew up a large batch of either green or white tea, then put it into the fridge and drink it over two or three days. Does the tea still retain the beneficial antioxidants, or do I have to drink it hot?

Thanks for writing, Lori. Some research has shown that cold-brewing your coffee or tea might preserve antioxidants, says Brett Holmes of Toddy Cold Brew Coffee System. However, some of the compounds extracted during the brewing process include desirable oils and fatty acids that are soluble only at high temperatures, he says.
