Bacon
Oh yes, you can grill bacon. Thick-cut strips work best. If you’re cooking on a gas grill, heat it to medium to high. Line up the bacon on a shallow baking pan or a sheet of heavy-duty aluminum foil with the edges folded up to contain the grease. Cook for about 20 minutes, flipping each slab about halfway through.
If you have a coal-fired grill, run a metal skewer through each slice so the bacon looks like a rippled ribbon; make sure to stab through the meaty parts, not the fat, so the bacon won’t fall off. Place the skewers on the grill running perpendicular to the grates and away from the direct flame. Cooking should go faster than on a gas grill, but your time will depend on your heat.
