The third recipe the judges tasted was Jill's Chai Custard Pie. This gluten-free pie features a crust made from quinoa flour, Bhakti Chai concentrate and maple syrup. The filling is a simple and light almond cream made from a blend of toasted almonds, more Bhakti Chai concentrate, maple syrup and salt. Jill topped her custard pie with toasted pecans and grated dark chocolate. The judges were thrilled with the simplicity of this fresh, bright and nutty dessert.
