Jasmine Green Tea and Huckleberry Granita
  • 1 1/2tablespoons jasmine green tea leaves
  • 1 1/2cups hot water (140 degrees)
  • ¼cup plus 2 teaspoons honey
  • ¾cup fresh or frozen huckleberries or blueberries
  • 2tablespoons fresh orange juice
  • 2tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  1. In a teapot, steep tea in hot water for 3–4 minutes. Strain into large bowl; discard tea leaves. Add honey and stir to dissolve. Add remaining ingredients. Put in freezer and stir every hour until too solid to stir. Let mixture freeze until solid, about 3 more hours. Shave or scrape granita into smaller bowls to serve.
