Ingredients
  • 1/2 small, cooked beetpeeled
  • 1cup unsweetened coconut milk, or milk of choice
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • 1/2tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4tsp ground ginger
  • 1tsp maple syrupoptional
Instructions
  1. In blender, blend beet, milk, protein powder, cinnamon, ginger, and maple syrup, if using, until smooth.
  2. Pour into small saucepan and gently heat over medium until steaming, but do not allow it to boil.
  3. Using hand-held frother or whisk, stir mixture vigorously in pan to create foam. Alternatively, pour mixture into jar with tight lid and shake for 30 seconds until foam forms.
  4. Pour into a mug and enjoy warm.
